Hibiscus moscheutos ssp. palustris - Pink form (Swamp Rosemallow)

Swamp Rosemallow is a large tropical-looking perennial of swamps and wet ditches. Often growing 6 or 7 feet tall with large leaves and large pink flowers (rarely white) but lacking the crimson center. easily adaptable to ordinary garden soil in full sun. The range of this form tends to be more northern: New England to the Upper Mid-west. Flowering occurs from July to September. Zone 5-9. Unknown ecotypes.
